It is with so much excitement and pride that I welcome you to the 2025–2026 academic year as your National Vice Chair of the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality (NSMH)!

Last year, I had the honor of serving as the Eastern Regional Chair, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue giving back to an organization that has shaped my growth, expanded my network, and helped me find my voice in the hospitality industry.

As Vice Chair, I lead our Membership Division, working closely with our amazing Regional Chairs to strengthen chapter engagement, student development, and the sense of family that makes NSMH so special. Whether you're joining us for the first time or returning for another impactful year, this is your home.

We’re pushing to have our largest membership year yet since the pandemic, and I could not be more excited! If you haven’t already, now is the perfect time to join NSMH and take advantage of the mentorship, networking, leadership, and career-shaping experiences waiting for you.

We’re also proud to continue our national community service initiative, which we launched at our last National Conference. Our commitment to giving back—locally and nationally—is just one of the many ways NSMH continues to stand for something greater than ourselves. This year, you’ll see even more opportunities to get involved, serve with purpose, and make a real impact on the communities we represent.

We’re kicking off the year in a big way with our reimagined NSMH Fall Conference in Orlando from October 31 to November 2, 2025, and then heading to Charlotte, North Carolina, for the 36th Annual NSMH National Conference and Career Fair, February 12–14, 2026. These events are more than conferences; they are life-changing moments designed for students like you.
