Founded in 1989, NSMH is a non-profit organization committed to educating, encouraging, and empowering students interested in pursuing hospitality careers.  With well over 50 chapters nationwide, the organization’s membership is committed to making a positive difference in the hospitality sector, with all individuals--whether as part of a chapter or as a national member at-large--welcome to join. NSMH is committed to providing resources, tools, and information to assist all students in their endeavors to succeed in the hospitality industry as well as to work closely with industry partners in developing supportive and thriving environments.

NSMH Announces Partnership with AHEAD for Pre-College & Career Outreach Programming

 NSMH is proud to partner with AHEAD to deliver impactful Pre-College and Career Outreach Programming during the 36th Annual NSMH Conference & Career Fair.

 This collaborative initiative reflects a shared commitment to early exposure, access, and opportunity within the hospitality, travel, and tourism industries. Designed for high-school students and emerging talent, the program introduces participants to a broad range of hospitality career pathways while providing meaningful engagement with industry professionals, educators, and student leaders.

 Through interactive sessions, career exploration, and real-world insights, this experience aims to inspire the next generation of hospitality leaders and strengthen the pipeline of diverse talent entering the industry.
