Dear NSMH Family,

 

It is with deep pride and excitement that I continue my journey as your National Treasurer & Finance Director for the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality (NSMH). As a proud student at North Carolina Central University, it’s an incredible honor to represent both my university and the powerful mission of NSMH on a national level.

 

This organization has shaped me in ways I could never have imagined—professionally, personally, and purposefully. NSMH has given me the confidence to lead, the platform to serve, and the opportunity to build relationships that will last a lifetime. That’s why I’m more energized than ever to keep doing the work that matters.

 

Together, we’re not just preparing students for careers, we’re preparing students to lead change in an industry that desperately needs our voices. And that starts with us: showing up, supporting one another, and holding space for growth and excellence.

 

As we prepare for an exciting year ahead, with our NSMH Fall Conference in Orlando and the 36th Annual NSMH National Conference & Career Fair in Charlotte, North Carolina, I’m committed to ensuring that our financial foundation is strong, sustainable, and aligned with our mission.

 

I’m excited not just for what’s ahead, but for who is walking into it. This board is filled with passionate, brilliant leaders who are committed to making this one of the most impactful years in NSMH’s history. Our membership continues to prove, time and time again, that NSMH is the premier professional organization for developing exceptional hospitality student talent and leadership.
